Use of e-signatures for e-government applications needs to be more consistent
across Europe, finds new research

The European Commission has released on 20/10/2003 a detailed report on "Legal
and market aspects of electronic signatures", which brings some new insight
regarding the use of electronic signatures in the EU, among other things for
e-government services.
