Advanced methods for virtual studies
CUBER innovations on distance learning are making virtual education more of a
reality. The project adopted by the Federated European Virtual University offers
students easy access to courses and study programmes from different host
Universities, irrespective of location and language.
The ninth international conference and a set of workshops on technology
supported learning and training will take place from 3 to 5 of December, in
Berlin, Germany.
During the conference a number of plenary sessions will address issues ranging
from' e-learning policies in practice' to 'future technologies for learning'.
A series of workshops will take place prior to the conference and will focus on
helping participants gain practical knowledge and insight into topics such as
the innovative outputs of European learning technologies or the use of GRID
infrastructures to support future technology enhanced learning.
Keynote speakers will include representatives from business, academia and the
European Commission. The event is being organised under the patronage of the
German Ministry of education and research, with the support of the European
Commission.
